Why do they do it? Why do they learn something is not right, but they do it anyway? These are some of the reason why some kids do drugs. They learn its not good, but they do it anyway, digging their grave in the process.
Peer Pressure: Some kids do drugs because they want to fit in, or be "in." They want to show people they are capable of being "bad to the bone." They think its not gonna hurt me! Just once! They're just sucking themselves into a cycle of confusion.
Boredom: Lack of excitement , zest, thrills, fun and challenge in a dull routine life. They say, " There's nothing to do."
Escape: They think that they can get away from painful pasts, and go into another world.
Rebellion Against Authority: Unwillingness to accepth the discipline of home, school, and society. Want to do their "own thing". Be their "own person".
Absence of Standards: The inability of many families to establish and maintain standards. Kids usually say,"My mom, dad, or any guardian never told me the goodness and the badness of things!"
